The kids loved the layout of the house and the easy access to the beach and pier. A quick walk or drive to Whole Foods is an easy way to stock the house, and we enjoyed watching movies and shows when the weather didn't cooperate. We had a family gathering and loved the Central location and amazing beach view on all 3 levels. Jon was available to make sure we had all we needed for our stay. Very comfy beds and pillows too. We came for sunshine and got worst rainstorm in 10 years and still had a good time thanks to Jon and this great house. So glad it worked out.

Beautiful home: The house was beautiful. Jon was very accommodating before, during and after my stay. It was a fabulous home to rent for a nice winter break. During my stay I invited my out of state friends and family to visit me to show off how amazing Santa Monica is. Many of them were first timers and like I expected, they were blown away. Everyone was comfortable even when we had more then 10 of us at one time in the house. Honestly no one wanted to leave. The kitchen was big and fully stocked; so we could enjoy big family dinners. Overall it was great. And the views and access to everything was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place! I hope to rent again for another long winter getaway.

A fantastic place: We've stayed at this home for several years in a row. It's perfect, especially if you have a large group or are traveling with children. The house is lovely, but not so precious that you have to worry about something being destroyed. Sitting on the porch at sunset watching people go by cannot be beat. It's within easy walking distance to great restaurants and shopping, and the Santa Monica pier for children. The owner is super responsive to any issues. Enjoy!

MLK Weekend Reunion: Our stay at Jon’s house exceeded all expectations! Based on the number of bedrooms we were unsure of how much communal space there would be. And we were happily surprised. The bottom and 2nd floor are pretty much all communal space for hanging out, cooking and eating. The bedrooms on the 3rd floor were large and comfy. The bedroom on the bottom floor provided great respite from the group. We’re all still trying to figure out which balcony we enjoyed the most, there is an external spiral staircase that connects them all. The guest house was well-stocked with all the kitchen items we needed to prepare meals. There was even some community food in the pantry and refrigerator that was available for us to use. The living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated and made us feel at home. The wifi connection was fast and reliable. Although we did not get to meet Jon, he responded immediately via text or phone call and was easy to work with. Without hesitation I would recommend this house to anyone. We look forward to many years ahead of coming together here

Kentucky family: My husband and I took our family for fall break and stayed at the Santa Monica beachfront home. It was perfect. In walking distance to the promenade and pier. My grand daughers could walk right out on the beach and we could sit on the balcony and watch them. The views were incredible. We hope to return there next year on fall break. It is definitely a 5 star house I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Santa Monica. Thank you Jon for sharing your home with us.

Absolutely loved it: The location of this home is amazing. Within walking distance of all you need in Santa Monica. Four families ( from Australia ) stayed here for four nights and there was everything we needed inside and out -including beach umbrellas, chairs, volley balls etc. We enjoyed sitting out on one of three balcony areas watching the sunset and the passing parade. There was plenty of space for adults and children. There was also plenty of room to park our rental cars. It really is a beautiful house. Jon was excellent to deal with, nothing was a problem. I can't wait to go back again next we visit the USA.

Without hesitation Six stars out of 5: My wife and I spent 3 glorious nights in Jon’s home. The place is amazing and as described in every way. It will accommodate a much larger group. I highly recommend the home, Jon and Santa Monica. I researched many options before staying and we toured several other beaches. Jon’s home is perfectly situated on the beach a short 3 minute walk to a beach restaurant and a spot that you can rent all of your beach goodies (bikes, boogie boards etc). It’s about a 5 min walk to the pier and a short drive to UCLA, Hollywood, and downtown. We loved the place its top-shelf and Jon is professional accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend Jon and his home. We’ve stayed at several other vacation rental locations throughout the U.S. I give this one Six stars out of five.

Perfect Summer getaway: We stayed here with our children and a few other family members. Perfect location! The house had everything we needed. There was more than enough space for everyone and I loved the outdoor space. Close to 3rd street promenade and grocery stores. Bike rentals were close to the house and boogie boards and chairs were also left on the porch for our use when we walked down to the water. Well worth it and highly recommended!!
